Orders placed by anyone under the age of eighteen (18) will not be accepted. We reserve the right to verify age and identity where necessary before accepting or fulfilling any order.
- Products and Orders
All products offered are subject to availability. Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided for informational purposes and may vary slightly. Orders are accepted at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where there is a reasonable belief that the purchase is not genuine, that false information has been provided, or where the order might breach applicable law or these Terms. If we exercise our right to refuse or cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund without delay.
- Pricing
All prices are shown in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT at the current rate. Delivery costs, if any, are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors but will always inform you before processing any adjustment.
- Payment Options
We offer several methods of payment, including payment by debit or credit card, or by invoice. Details of each option are provided below. By choosing a payment method, you authorise us to process your payment in accordance with these Terms.
- Payment by Invoice
If you choose to pay by invoice, payment is due within 10 days from the date of the invoice. Your statutory right to cancel or return goods is not affected by the invoice due date. Where payment has not been received within the specified timeframe, we may temporarily pause future shipments or further orders until the outstanding balance is cleared. We will provide notice before doing so. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for the reissue of invoices or statements.
- Card Payments and Continuous Payment Authority
Customers may choose to pay by debit or credit card at the time of order, or to use Continuous Payment Authority which allows for automated payments for subscription or continuity collections. Under the Continuous Payment Authority the same card will be used to process a defined payment amount at a fixed frequency until your collection is complete or you choose to cancel. You will be informed of the amount, frequency and total number of payments before the plan begins. You can cancel your Continuous Payment Authority at any time via your online account or by contacting our Customer Service team. Cancelling does not affect your statutory rights to cancel or return goods. No additional fees apply for payments made by credit or debit card. If you choose to cancel/opt-out of this service you (the customer) will be sent an invoice requesting payment for each subsequent coin/medal issue. If you choose to opt-in for this service, you (the customer) are covered by the continuous payment authority section of our website, found here.
PayPal
If you choose to pay for your order using PayPal, payment for only the first coin will be taken and you will be sent an invoice with each subsequent invoice that’s shipped. To complete this transaction you will be taken to PayPal’s website where the payment will be handled using your personal PayPal account and payment details.
Internet and Telephone Banking
This is available via your Bank or Building Society. For payment, you can take your invoice(s) or reminder letters to your local Post Office and make cash or card payments using the remittance at the bottom.
Cheque or Postal Money Order
These should be made payable to The Dublin Mint Office Ltd and sent to the Freepost address shown on the front of the invoice or reminder letter, or in the enclosed business reply envelope. Please ensure you enclose the original remittance slip from the invoice(s) or reminder letter(s) you are making a payment for. To avoid processing delays, the reverse of the cheque or postal order should be endorsed with your name, address, invoice numbers and customer number.
- Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within twenty-eight (28) days of acceptance. If we are unable to deliver within this period, you will be offered substitute goods and/or a revised delivery date. Alternatively, you may cancel your order, in which case a full refund for any prepaid items will be provided. Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on product availability or demand. You will be notified of any delay. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the goods. Title passes upon full payment.
- Retention of Title
Legal and beneficial title to the goods remains with The Dublin Mint Office until payment in full has been received. Until ownership passes, the goods remain the property of The Dublin Mint Office.
- Right to Cancel and Returns Policy
You have the right to cancel your order within fourteen 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example, by email or letter). You then have a further fourteen 14 days from the date of cancellation to return the goods. We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs, within fourteen 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
